TestBash Brighton 2025

On the 1st & 2nd of October, 2025 we'll be back to Brighton for another TestBash: the largest software testing conference in the UK
-
09:00 - 19:00 BST
Location: Brighton Dome

TestBash is not just a conference. It’s a reflection of the community research we do throughout the year. We’re not jumping on hype, we’ve been in deep research mode for the past 12 months to bring you themes that matter to software testing and quality engineering professionals. You better believe that we pay attention to everything and strive to bring you what matters the most to you.

Every community conversation, Testing Trend, This Week in Testing, community-contributed article, The Club post, Testing Planet session, talk, Slack chat, glossary entry and certification contribution have influenced our decision-making on who and what should be represented at TestBash.

Image with profile pictures of all contributors and hosts. In the background is a purple starry space with a moon in view. On the moon there's a flag displaying the MoT logo. Next to it is the TestBash logo and the URL for TestBash: www.ministryoftesting.com/testbash

This is what sets TestBash apart. The 24/7/365 contributions from the community enable us to set trends together.

We haven’t nominated a theme for this TestBash, but what has become apparent for 2025 is that testing needs to happen everywhere. This shows up in the trend towards the need to explore continuous quality, holistic and quality engineering as an overarching trend.

  • Quality is everywhere, it’s not shift left, it’s shift everywhere
  • 80% of people like us now identify as Quality Engineers
  • We have real potential to guide AI development through a critical and ethical lens; deeper conversations around AI are required
  • A black and white, or a pass-or-fail mindset, doesn’t help us build better products. We have to think in systems.

What comes as standard at TestBash

  • Diversity of voices
  • Investment in new voices
  • Every talk is a keynote talk
  • Authentic community vibes
  • Accessibility and inclusivity at the heart
  • Engaging activities and social opportunities for all
  • The option to take to the stage as a first-time speaker
  • Actionable takeaways to bring back to your workplace
  • Yes, talks will be digitised, but in-person brings deeper connections
