Our Software Testing Conference is Coming to New Zealand

For many years WeTest has been the heart of New Zealand’s software testing community. WeTest Wellington and Auckland meetups and conferences started small and grew steadily over the years, always with the goal of giving a platform to software testers and creating new opportunities for learning and connection. 

Ministry of Testing and TestBash have also been growing. We have been expanding our conferences within Europe and further afield to the United States and Australia.

The WeTest family feel that the best way to keep growing, sharing ideas and fostering the New Zealand testing community is to join the growing number of global TestBash software testing conferences.

Of course, we won’t be doing this alone. The wonderful Shirley Tricker will be joining us in bringing TestBash to New Zealand.

Some words from Shirley:

I've long admired the value that Ministry of Testing offers the testing community. While my role is no longer in testing I love working with testers and want to be part of the next chapter supporting the growing community in NZ.

What’s the plan?

It’s going to be a busy week with our conference day on Tuesday 29th October followed by 3 days of the super popular Automation in Testing.

Apply to Speak

Do you have stories and ideas you want to share with us or the solution of a tricky problem you solved? We want talks that are highly creative, fun, but still focus on learning.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a well-seasoned speaker or brand new to it, you can go ahead and submit your talks right now! We will be reviewing TestBash New Zealand submissions until 8th March 2019 – this means if you submit before this date then your submission will be considered for New Zealand.

TestBash is a very friendly community focused software testing conference and the right place to start your speaker career – 99 seconds or 30 minutes – it is up to you! If you need help to prepare your talk, please contact us, we know amazing experienced speakers who love to help new voices.
