Ministry of Testing has been changing so much that now a big challenge of ours is to communicate all the things that are happening!
Core to what we offer is our MoT Professional Membership, we've been doubling down to create a community of practice like no other. You see, humans are a diverse bunch of people. All with different needs. At different points in their careers. And most definitely with very different approaches to learning.
We playfully call ourselves “The MoTaverse” as a way to show that we are building an extensive planet to cater for all testing and quality engineering professionals.
You won't find any of this anywhere else.

Our goal is to have something for everyone, for example:
- a text based forum for those who like to write and process in their own time
- A Slack for more deeper collaboration, private and ad-hoc conversations
- This Week in Testing for those who want to share, process and listen into what they've been doing recently
- OnDemand courses for short focused async learning
- Certifications for those who want to go deep into specific areas of testing and quality engineering
- 99 second and 404 talks for those wanting to dip their toes into public speaking
- Articles for those that love to write
- Longer talks that require more time to go into depth into specific topics
- ….and some much more!
Our MoT Professional Membership supports this in every way. We can contribute and learn in very small or huge ways. And along the way members can build beautiful and visible proof of their learning contributions via their MoT Profiles—this is a living, online and forever updating personal portfolio of contributions that help expand the MoTaverse.
We are here to help testing and quality engineering professionals become their best selves.
When we started our membership it consisted mostly of TestBash talks. We're pleased to say we've expanded it in so many ways. It's not just talks. It's Testing Trends. It's OnDemand courses. It's Certifications. It's Lead with Quality. It's TestBash. It's knowledge, knowledge, everywhere. And contributed by the people.

These are all super relevant and hot topics that every modern software testing professional needs to have an understanding of.
We've had amazing feedback from out Testing Planet sessions. So far we've hosted 10 of these virtual conferences. Recordings are available to all Professional Members.
At the heart of everything we do is community research. This shows up in our Testing Trends, but crucially, what we learn makes it way through to all our other learning opportunities.
TeamMoT is constantly curating content to make it easier to discover. MoT Professional members can also create their own collections that includes both MoT and external content from the wider web.
Learning happens everywhere. Across the web. That's why we've now introduced links. MoT Professional Members can bookmark content and give credit where credit is due.
We like to lead the way. And as part of this we are going to be working closely with Leaders in the Quality space. Stay tuned!
Sometimes all that is needed is knowing the existence of a term. Othertimes it is essential that we, as a professional community, share our own understanding of what terms mean. Professional members can contribute their own.
Personal growth also means making yourself open to opportunities to work, speak, write, teach and mentor!
