Ministry of Testing is launching 99-Minute Workshops - a new type of online workshop that allows you to quickly boost your software testing know-how and skillset.
What Are the Benefits?
You might be asking yourself, whatâs so great about these workshops that are 99-minutes? Well, there the benefits are bountiful, including:

Instructor-led - each of our workshops are run by testers who know their onions! Youâll be expertly led through various testing topics, tools and approaches packed with demonstrations, experiences, examples and activities to complete.

Short - theyâll be 99 minutes⌠ish! Certainly, under two hours (well, we have to keep it on brand donât we? đ) This allows you to gain new knowledge and skills quickly, there will be no bumf or rambling in these workshops.

Targeted - Short doesnât mean shallow, oh no, these workshops will be highly targeted giving you an in-depth look at specific testing topics aimed at certain skill levels. You can expect workshops on both technical and theory-based topics as well as workshops aimed at beginners and more advanced learners.

Outcomes-based - All our instructors have been coached on how to develop learning outcomes and how to help learners achieve them. Theyâre really useful for you too as youâll be able to quickly tell if a workshop is for you just by looking at the outcomes and whether theyâre things you want to learn.

Learn live with others - each workshop will be run live and online with up to 100 other fellow testers from around the world. Youâll be able to network and learn with other professionals to understand different perspectives thatâll help you broaden your own understanding of testing topics.

Convenient - These workshops will run several times a week with each workshop running four times a year in three different timezones. This means youâre bound to find an instance of a workshop youâre interested in that runs at a time that suits you.

Who Can Attend?
Anyone who is a Professional Member of Ministry of Testing. Weâve been working hard on boosting our Pro Membership offering and as part of that, we are adding on these 99-Minute Workshops to our Pro Membership package. If youâre already a Pro Member, you can attend these workshops at no extra cost. Up to 100 Pro-Members can attend each workshop, just register for workshops of interest and you can attend on a first-come, first-served basis.

Weâll help you develop your idea and turn it into a targeted workshop with learning outcomes that will engage your learners and help them achieve their learning goals.
To submit your workshop idea, add a workshop abstract to the Masters of the Ministry catalogue by completing this form (NB: youâll need an MoT account and to have created a profile to submit).
