Refund Policy
For details on our refund deadlines and policies, please refer to the information below; note that our policies differ for membership subscription payments vs. one-time live online course purchases, and that payment options may vary from one Service to another. Please also note that we treat violations of our Acceptable Use Policy very seriously, and we have no obligation to offer refunds to Service Users who are found to be in violation of these terms, even if their requests are made within the designated refund period.
To request a refund, please contact us on hello@ministryoftesting.com.
Professional Membership or Team Membership or Enterprise Membership Annual Subscription Payments
If you cancel your paid annual subscription for an individual Professional Membership or Team Membership or Enterprise Membership, we will offer you a complete refund up until 30 days after purchase.
Your subscription will continue for 12 months and then automatically renew unless and until you cancel your subscription or the subscription is suspended or terminated by Ministry of Testing.
If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access until the end of the 12-month period and will not be billed for the next billing cycle.
For Live Online Courses Purchases
If you cancel your paid enrollment on a one-time live online course, we will offer you a complete refund less a 15% administration fee up until 45 days prior to the course start date.
In the unlikely occurrence of a cancellation of a live online course by the Ministry of Testing, enrolled members will be offered a full refund or a credit note against an equivalent future Ministry of Testing live online course.
For Events Purchases
If you cancel your paid registration for an event, we will offer you a refund of the full fee less a 15% administration fee up until 45 days prior to the event start date.
In the event of cancellation or postponement of an Event or Training Course, the liability of MoT is limited to the share of the paid ticket fees that remain after payment processing fees have been incurred and deducted. Besides a refund of ticket fees, MoT is not responsible for any loss or damage to or expenses incurred by the Attendee as a result of such cancellation or postponement.
COVID-19 Related Refund Policy
If your ability to attend the event in person is impacted by:
-
local government restrictions related to COVID-19
-
your country’s travel restrictions
-
developing COVID-19 symptoms
-
a requirement to self-isolate
-
event reschedule, and you are unable to make the new dates
You will be able to transfer the total value of your registration to a colleague, to a future event or request a refund (minus 15% of administration fees).
In the case of testing positive for COVID-19, developing symptoms of COVID-19 or being requested to self-isolate due to close contact with someone who tested positive, we will require proof of a PCR test done up to 2 days after the event date in order to receive a refund. A refund will only be issued once satisfactory evidence of the test has been provided.
Credit Holders
If you're currently holding credit with Ministry of Testing, this will not be refunded. If you use your current credit to purchase ticket(s) for one of our in-person events in 2022 or any other product or service, and are not able to attend, a refund will not be issued and the credit amount used will be lost.
For Other Paid Services
Except as described in this Refund Policy or as explicitly stated on our Services, Ministry of Testing has no obligation to provide refunds or vouchers for any other Services.
Effective as of 7th August 2022
