The Icky and Good Words In Software Testing

The software testing world has moved on in the past few years and we have an image problem. So we asked software testers of the world what words made them feel good or icky. This the result.

Why is this important?

The main inspiration behind this was to place some emphasis on the words we are using.  To help us idenitfy the words that we like. That we identify with. That bring us joy.

Once we understand the words that we like then we can make a conscious effort to use and share them.

Below you can find various formats of the result.  An infographic, a desktop background and a downloadable printable PDF to stick on your wall of the good words! You can 'right click' and save the images for your personal use.

We hope you like it!
