Firefox Plugins and Extensions

Here's a handy list for software tester of Firefox plugins and extensions that you might find useful.

  • Accessibility Evaluation Toolbar  — Support web developers in testing web resources for accessibility features

  • Bug Magnet — Convenient access to common problematic values and edge cases, so you can keep them handy and access them easily during exploratory testing sessions 
  • Clear Cache Button to toolbar — Adds a clear cache toolbar button. After installing the extension, find the clear cache button in the toolbar customization.
  • DOM Inspector — DOM Inspector is a tool that can be used to inspect and edit the live DOM of any web document or XUL application
  • Firebug 
  • Fire Cookie — Firecookie is an extension for Firebug that makes possible to view and manage cookies in your browser
  • Firefox plug-in for Fiddler
